System Design and Integration Consultation

Tom Wineman, principal and founder of Clean Energy Design  is an energy engineer with a background in both electrical and mechanical engineering. He specializes in analysis and tradeoff studies to determine the optimal use of renewable resources in meeting the energy needs of a site or a community. He also consults on, designs, installs, and services a wide variety of clean energy systems. This work has been performed as principal of Clean Energy Design, LLC, and its predecessor firm since 1996.  His extensive knowledge and experience with a variety of different types of energy systems affords him an advantage to understanding complex system integrations.

Projects include:

Passive heating/cooling and efficiency upgrades;

Off-grid and on-grid solar photovoltaic and wind turbine systems;

Solar thermal (driving radiant heat and hydro-air), solar domestic hot water, and integration with geothermal systems;

Hybrid systems that use some of the above in combination.
