The media were given a tour last week to see the latest developments on Cape Wind. Fugro, an international geophysical sampling firm is now gathering data in this phase of the project. Drills visit each future turbine location (remember there are going to be 130 and each monopole will be 80 feet long) and drive into the sea floor to gather info which will help shape the design of how the monopoles will be anchored.
