Clean Energy Design has over a 15 years of experience installing Commercial Solar PV systems, particularly in Massachusetts where state government incentives have led the way year after year. As an experienced EPC who will provide engineering, procurement, and construction services. Our company is able to provide end-to-end solar energy services, including creative system design, permitting & utility documentation, equipment procurement and installation and monitoring services.
More and more business owners are realizing that they can turn their biggest idle assets (roof and land) into profitable real estate and at the same time save money while doing their part for the environment.
Businesses may take advantage of lucrative tax incentives, such as the 30% Federal Business Energy Investment Tax Credit. In addition to this aggressive tax credit, there is another federal incentive which also reduces the payback period substantially known as the 5 Year MACRS (Modified Accelerated Cost-Recovery System) which allows a business to depreciate renewable energy equipment and all installation expenditures. Currently an 80% federal bonus depreciation incentive is available also.
We offer comprehensive, start to finish solutions which span all phases of a typical 30kW to 2MW solar power installation:
1. Site evaluation, system design and sourcing
We analyze many prospective projects using our RSA (remote site assessment) service. Utilizing Google Earth, Aurora and other online satellite/arial viewing tools, we are able to ensure the location and orientation of the site is adequate for the optimal solar gain for a system. After we gather additional pertinent information from the prospective client and have determined the site to be appropriate, we may conduct a solar pathfinder analysis to determine the extent of any potential shading degradation issues. We determine which technologies are best for your situation, source the best contractors and negotiate prices and contracts on your behalf.
2. Feasibility studies are an important part of determining the best application of renewable energy systems and energy efficiency strategies, particularly for large commercial projects. In most cases renewable energy systems are a wise choice to provide decreased dependence on fossil based energy and substantially reduce the cost of purchasing power.
3. Engineering/design
We design your system to minimize solar energy costs and maximize system lifetime and production.
4. Installation/construction
Our solar energy installers and partners provide onsite management, address any construction challenges, maximize system design, mitigate risk and ensure quality results.
5. System maintenance and monitoring
We offer custom maintenance and monitoring packages to ensure your system performs at peak efficiency.
